One division of the company is Mayline; established in 1939 as the Engineering Supply Company they focused on just that; engineering supplies such as drafting tables, straightedges, and blueprint files. Then there is also Tiffany Industries. Established 1924 they began with the invention of the typewriter stand and continued their innovative ways by introducing the first modular workstation in 1979. The Mayline Group also includes Kwik File, Mayline Network Products Divisions, and Kwik File Storage Systems Divisions.
The Mayline Group’s Sustainability Committee was established to initiate and oversee the company’s environmental improvements such as waste prevention, increased recycling, and reduced energy consumption. In 2008 the Mayline Group successfully reduced their steel waste, wood scraps, paint waste, and focused additional efforts on paper and corrugate recycling.
All products associated with the Mayline Group come with a limited lifetime warranty including repair or replacement of any product or component manufactured after 2000. This includes a ten year warranty for electrical components, seating controls, seating pneumatic cylinders, and wood seating components; as well as a five year warranty for all fabric and leather seating upholstery and veneer finishes.
